This Shipping Policy outlines in detail how we handle the delivery of your orders, including processing times, shipping methods, costs, international considerations, and our responsibilities as a dropshipping e-commerce business based in Massachusetts, USA.

By placing an order on our website at https://leekreyol.com (the “Site”), you agree to the terms described below. We encourage you to read this policy carefully, as it forms part of our legally binding Terms and Conditions and works in conjunction with our Return & Refund Policy.

1. Our Shipping Model: Dropshipping with Purpose

Lee Kreyol operates on a curated dropshipping model. This means that while we design the shopping experience, select culturally meaningful products—from beauty and clothing to food and artisanal goods—and manage customer service, the physical fulfillment of your order is handled by trusted third-party suppliers, many of whom specialize in Haitian-made or Caribbean-inspired goods.

This approach allows us to:

  • Offer a diverse, ever-evolving catalog without warehousing limitations
  • Support global artisans and small Haitian businesses
  • Reduce overhead and pass savings to you

However, it also means that shipping times and carrier choices may vary by product and supplier, and some orders may arrive in multiple packages if items originate from different fulfillment centers.

2. Order Processing Time

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, it enters our processing queue.

  • Standard processing time: 1–3 business days
  • Peak periods (e.g., holidays like Haitian Flag Day, Christmas, Black History Month promotions): Processing may extend to 5 business days

During processing, we:

  • Verify payment and shipping details
  • Transmit your order to the appropriate supplier(s)
  • Perform quality and fraud checks

Note: Orders are not processed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase and a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your package leaves the supplier’s facility.

3. Shipping Destinations

  1. Domestic Shipping (United States)

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.), and APO/FPO military addresses.

Delivery times and costs vary by location, carrier, and product origin.

  1. International Shipping

At this time, Lee Kreyol does not offer standard international shipping outside the United States. However, we are actively exploring expansion to Canada and select Caribbean nations in 2026.

If you are located outside the U.S. and wish to inquire about special arrangements, please contact us at info@gmail.com. Any international order placed without prior approval may be canceled and refunded.

4. Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

  1. We partner with reliable carriers, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, depending on the supplier and destination. The available shipping options at checkout reflect real-time carrier rates and estimated delivery windows.
    1. Standard Shipping (Most Common)
    • Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days after shipment
    • Cost: Calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination
    • Tracking: Provided via email once shipped
    1. Expedited Shipping (When Available)
    • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days after shipment
    • Cost: Higher than standard; displayed at checkout
    • Not all products or suppliers support expedited shipping

    Please note: “Delivery time” begins only after the item has been shipped, not after order placement. Total time from order to delivery typically ranges from 6–14 business days for U.S. customers under normal conditions.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are not included in product prices unless explicitly stated (e.g., during promotions offering “free shipping”).

Your shipping cost is calculated dynamically at checkout based on:

  • Your shipping address
  • The weight and dimensions of your items
  • The number of suppliers involved (multi-package orders may incur separate fees)
  • The selected shipping speed

We do not profit from shipping fees; all charges reflect actual or estimated carrier costs passed through from our suppliers or our own fulfillment coordination.

Free Shipping Promotions:

Occasionally, we offer free standard shipping on orders over a certain amount (e.g., “Free shipping on orders $75+”). These thresholds apply before taxes and after discounts, and are valid only for eligible U.S. addresses.

6. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email with a link to monitor its progress.

  • If your order includes multiple items from different suppliers, you will receive separate tracking emails for each package.
  • Tracking updates may lag by 24–48 hours after shipment. This is normal.
  • If tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your package, please:
    1. Check with neighbors or building management
    2. Contact your local carrier using the tracking number
    3. If unresolved after 48 hours, email us at info@gmail.com

We are not responsible for packages confirmed as “delivered” by the carrier unless evidence of carrier error is provided.

7. Address Accuracy and Changes

You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address, including apartment numbers, suite details, and any special delivery instructions.

We cannot change shipping addresses after an order has been processed (i.e., after the 1–3 business day window). If you need to update your address, contact us immediately after ordering.

If a package is returned to the sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, we will:

  • Notify you via email
  • Offer to reship the order for a reshipping fee equal to the original shipping cost, or
  • Issue a refund minus the original shipping cost and any return handling fees

8. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

  1. During Transit (Before “Delivered” Status)

If your tracking shows a significant delay (e.g., no movement for 5+ business days) or indicates the package is lost:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will file a claim with the carrier and work to resend your order or issue a full refund at no cost to you
  1. After “Delivered” Status

Once the carrier marks a package as “delivered,” title and risk of loss transfer to you. We are not liable for theft from porches, mailrooms, or other delivery points.

To minimize risk:

  • Request “signature required” (if available at checkout for an extra fee)
  • Use a secure delivery address (e.g., workplace)
  • Monitor tracking closely

If you suspect theft, file a report with your local authorities and your carrier. We may, at our discretion, assist with a replacement if documentation is provided.

  1. Damaged Items

If your product arrives damaged or defective:

  • Do not discard the item or packaging
  • Take clear photos of the damage and packaging
  • Email us within 48 hours of delivery at info@gmail.com with your order number and images

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping if required.

9. Delays Beyond Our Control

While we strive for timely delivery, certain circumstances are outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Severe weather or natural disasters
  • Carrier strikes or operational disruptions
  • Customs inspections (for future international orders)
  • Incorrect address information
  • Public health emergencies (e.g., pandemics)
  • Supplier inventory shortages or production issues

In such cases, we will notify you of significant delays and offer alternatives where possible

10. Special Considerations for Food and Perishable Items

Some of our products include Haitian food items (e.g., epis, piman, sauces, coffee). While most are shelf-stable, we take extra care in their handling:

  • Food items are shipped in sealed, food-grade packaging
  • We avoid shipping perishables during extreme heat or cold when possible
  • No expedited shipping guarantee applies to food—delivery times are estimates only
  • All food sales are final unless the item arrives damaged, spoiled, or past its expiration date (see Return & Refund Policy)

By ordering food products, you acknowledge the inherent risks of shipping consumables and assume responsibility for timely receipt and proper storage upon delivery.

11. Package Consolidation

Because we work with multiple suppliers, package consolidation is generally not possible. If you order a beauty product from one supplier and a t-shirt from another, they will ship separately.

We are exploring future solutions for consolidated shipping, but for now, please expect multiple deliveries for multi-category orders.

12. Shipping to Businesses, PO Boxes, and Secure Locations

  • PO Boxes: Accepted for USPS shipments only. UPS and FedEx require street addresses.
  • Business Addresses: Encouraged for reliability—please include company name and suite/floor.
  • Secure Delivery Instructions: You may add notes like “Leave at back door” or “Ring doorbell,” but carriers are not obligated to follow them. Use “signature required” for high-value orders.
